01 — The lab

Youlief is the skincare line of Plcoskin, a Korean regenerative-medicine company that engineers artificial soft tissue — skin, muscle, blood vessels — for reconstructive surgery.

Our founder, Dr. Woo-yeol Baek, is a plastic surgeon trained at Yonsei University’s Severance Hospital, with a research fellowship at Johns Hopkins and surgical training at UPMC. Youlief exists because a company that studies how skin rebuilds itself learns what skin actually needs — and what it doesn’t.

02 — From surgery to skincare

That knowledge becomes everyday cosmetics: gentle, low-irritation formulas built around researched ingredients — the seven-part CICA complex, multi-weight hyaluronics, peptides — and Youli_R™, a vegan complex of hyaluronic acid, panthenol and a plant-derived collagen alternative developed over years by Plcoskin’s researchers.
